Northwest offers a two-year curriculum designed to prepare you to begin a career in photography with marketable, entry-level skills by earning an Associate of Applied Science degree. As students, you'll master the technical aspects of the camera, darkroom, digital images and studios. You'll be able to express your creative ideas clearly, effectively and efficiently.

Graduates of the
Photographic Communications program are employed primarily in the Rocky Mountain areas but have the opportunity to work across the nation. Employment includes commercial portraiture, studio illustration, photojournalism, digital imaging, web design, interactive multi-media design, digital color management, public relations, aerial photography, freelance photography and much more.
