Northwest College was founded in 1946 and is a national accredited college. The photography program was established in 1976. Northwest is a two-year college with general admission. Northwest is located in Powell, Wyoming, 70 miles from Yellowstone National Park. Our modern, 124-acre campus has 57 buildings, including five residence halls and 80 apartments for more than 900 students. Total enrollment is more than 2,000. Northwest specializes in transfer and professional programs. It offers excellent facilities and quality instruction at an economical price.

What will it cost?
Northwest's tuition and fixed fees are among the lowest in the nation however, photography majors should expect additional expenses. Photography course fees range from $50 - $100. In addition most first year students spend $1,250/semester on consumable materials. Second year students spend around $2,000/semester.
What you spend on photography supplies depends entirely on your personal style, your technical skill and your desire for perfection.
